It’s been a while coming but it’s finally back.

Following on from our successful “ how to build a robot for £200 “ video on YouTube we’ve been asked to take it one step further.

A 4 hour project for a maximum of 4 people in your team who have always dreamed of building a robot but never done anything about it. It’s time to make dreams come to life, and what great timing to purchase a ticket as the ideal Christmas present.

Starting off with a tour of the workshop, you will get to see the facilities we use to not only build some of the UK’s top Heavyweight robots, but all different kinds of projects for a wide range of industries which have included A Guinness world record breaking toaster, Autonomous game playing robots, and much more.

In addition to the facilities and some of our previous work, we also have the UK’s largest collection of old classic Robot Wars robots to look at. The likes of Axe Awe, Exterminator, Gabriel, many more, and even the original moulds the BBC used to make the House Robots with for the early series of Robot Wars.

After the tour, and as many questions as you want to ask, It’s then time to build your very own Feather Weight robot. Working in the team you bring, or alone if you choose, you will be given all the tools, parts and know how, to build your robot ready for the challenges set at the end.

We will be providing all the components needed and materials to build your robot, and what’s even better you will take it away with you at the end!

Once your robot is completed and tested, it will be time to put it to the test. A short demonstration from a previous UK champion Ripper in the arena, starts of the final celebration and then it’s your turn to take centre stage.

First of all we will test your driving skill in a timed assault course, who will be the best driver of the day?

The robots will then take part in a series of football games, now robot football is much better than real football, there’s no Yellow or Red cards, and certainly no fouls, this is brutal, this is robot football.

Then to finish the day you’ll be given some time to have a few battles with each other, but watch out, we may just our a house robot in the arena with you !!

The How to build a robot is priced at £399, and that includes £200 worth of robot that you will get to take home with you.

Each team can have a maximum of 4 people in it and of course you will then be very welcome to bring your robot and take part in the 2022 Extreme Robots Tour with your robots if you wanted.

We’ve had many families who have followed the video and brought their robots to our shows and are improving all the time. Once you get in the pits at the events you can chat to all the other teams, and pick up hints and tips of how to improve.
